God and demigod
In ancient time, a learned person was called as ‘Devata’ or ‘Deva’. ‘Devata’ is not God. Still then, they get respects as demigod or god according to their expertise.
In case of ‘Vishwakarma’ the celebrated chief of a team of very skillful architects attained godhead. ‘Vishwakarma’ is not an individual, a class of efficient –industrious and learned architects of ancient times.
